24 Books and 24 Projects
Below are all the books and the projects from an Advent Calendar that I reviewed books from and created projects if you want to see the videos for each book you can find them on my TikTok or YouTube page.
I used all the inserts the books were in for the projects, but you can use any size paper you want.
Once you read all the books and listen to the videos you will better understand the projects.
Book 1
Blue Clues and You! Christmas Blue – Age Range is 2 and up.
Blue and his family are getting ready for Christmas. They decorate the tree and the house. Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper make a gingerbread house. The illustrations in this book are bright and colorful.
Book 2
Dora the Explorer It’s Nochebuena! Age Range 5 and up
Dora and her friends try to help Sweeper get on Santa’s good list. Sweeper is on Santa’s naughty list because he keeps swiping things. So, they travel back to Christmas past, and Christmas Future to help Sweeper learn not to swipe things. You must read the book to see if it worked.
Book 3
Paw Patrol Pups Save Santa! Age Range 3 and up
Santa’s sled crashes and he loses his magic star and all the gifts. The magic star makes the sled fly, so Santa calls the Paw Patrol for help.
Book 4
Butterbean’s Café Holiday Wishes Age Range 3 and up
The Butterbean café invites all their friends to the café so no one will be alone at Christmas. They also made a Sugar Plum Fairy Cake so the Sugar Plum Fairy will come. But Ms. Marmalady wants everyone to come to her house instead, so she’s out to destroy the café’s Sugar Plum Fairly Cake and make one of her own so everyone will come to her house instead.

Rusty Rivets a Slippery Slope- Age Range 4 and up
This would be a fantastic book to get your students involved in STEAM. Rusty is very inventive. He makes large skis for his robot and machines that fly to help them get to the snow and ski.
Book 6
SpongeBob Square Pants on Thin Ice- Age Range 6-8
If your child is a hockey fan, he will love this book. SpongeBob is practicing swiping a napkin in a trash can using a broom. A scout sees him swipe the napkin into the trashcan utilizing a broom and asks if he wants to play professional hockey.
Book 7
Dora the Explorer Dora’s Chilly Day Adventure- Age Range 3-5
Dora’s Abuela needs chocolate for a surprise treat, so Dora and Boots set out on an adventure to find the chocolate tree. They encounter many obstacles before they find the chocolate tree. Read the story to your students to find out the surprise treat.
Book 8
Nella the Princess Knight, Nella Saves Christmas- Age Range 3-7
The dragons took all of Santa’s Gifts and hid them in a cave. Nella and her friends go after the dragons to get the presents back. But they encounter many obstacles put in their way by the dragons. We know that Nella saves Christmas, but how? You must read the book to find out.
Book 9
Blaze Ice Race- Age Range 4-6
Blaze changed himself into a race car to compete with the rest of the monster machines. Crusher wanted to beat Blaze so badly that he created havoc on the racers.
Book 10
Dora the Explorer Dora and the Littlest Christmas Tree- Age Range 3-7
The Littlest Christmas Tree wanted Santa to choose him to put presents under for all the forest animals. But he never gets picked because he is too small. So, Dora and Boots set out to find decorations for the tree so he would get picked by Santa.
Book 11
Shimmer and Shine Holly Jolly Genies- Age Range 3-7
Shimmer and Shine uses magic to threaten Christmas and then uses magic to save It. This book is about mistakes and misunderstandings and learning how to fix them.
Book 12
SpongeBob Square pants Naughty or Nice- Age Range 5-7
Mr. Krabs doesn’t understand the true meaning of Christmas. He thinks that Krabby Klaws is better than Santa because he is making so much money. This makes Santa upset, and he puts Mr.Krabs on the naughty list.
Book 13
Paw Patrol Everest Makes a Splash!- Age Range 3-7
A baby whale gets stuck in the ice, so the Paw Patrol sets out to help him. They get everything prepared, but the baby whale doesn’t understand what he needs to do. So, Everest sees that the baby likes to play and makes a game of tag out of his rescue so the baby whale will follow him.
Book 14
Sunny Day, Snow Day Style Age Range 5-7
Sunny and her friends got Holiday hairstyles for Christmas Eve. They see that it’s snowing outside and enjoy the snow. When they are finished getting their Holiday hairstyles they head out, but realize they are snowed in. They try to come up with ways to get Sunny back to Doodle before Christmas day.
Book 15
Sponge Bob SquarePants a Very Plankton Christmas Age Range 3-7
Sponge Bob and Patrick were going around inviting everyone to a Christmas Eve party at Krusty Krab. Plankton heard about the party and asked if he could come. Sponge told him of course, he could come. Plankton showed up with a very special gift.
Book 16
Dora the Explorer Ski, Skate, Sled Age Range 3-7
Dora and Boots Skied, Skated, and Sled to save the Winter Games from a broken bridge. In the end, they received a very special surprise.
Book 17
Paw Patrol Snowy Saves- Age Range 3-5
Snowy, also known as Everest saves a kid named Jake. Because of that, he becomes an official Paw Patrol.
Book 18
Umizoomi North Pole Adventure- Age Range 3-5
Team Umizoomi sets out to the North Pole to help fix the toy machine. So that the last three toys would be ready for Christmas Day.
Book 19
Shimmer and Shine Frosty Games- Age Range 4-5
The Ice Sprites wanted to have fun with Frosty Games to see which was the coolest Sprite, but they kept creating chaos that Shimmer and Shine had to fix using their three wishes.
Book 20
Blaze Christmas in Axle City – Age Range 3-5
Blaze and his friends are decorating for Christmas and helping Santa fill his sack with presents. Crusher wants to see if he has a present in the bag and starts an avalanche of problems that Blaze must fix.
Book 21
Bubble Guppies the Holiday Party – Age Range 3-5
The Bubble Guppies prepare for a holiday party by making gingerbread cookies, putting up decorations, and inviting friends.
Book 22
Sponge Bob Christmas Magic – Age Range 3-5
Sponge Bob, Squidward, and Patrick all make Christmas wishes for Christmas. Will their Christmas Wish come true?
Book 23
Paw Patrol Happy Holidays, Adventure Bay! – Age Range 3-5
The Paw Patrol used their special gifts to help Adventure Bay prepare for the holidays.
Book 24
Dora the Explorer, Dora’s Christmas Eve Adventurer – Age Range 3-5
Dora and her friends are preparing all the decorations for Christmas Eve. Everyone got dressed up in their Christmas Eve outfits, and Dora put the last decorations on the tree, the star.
