Just For Parents

I have provided items to support your children’s learning process while they are at home.

  1. Play with them, pretend to use cars, dress-up clothing, and dolls. Remember boys can play with dolls, it teaches them how to be good dads.
  2. Read to them, then ask them what happened in the book, their favorite part, and how they wanted it to end.
  3. Check out fantastic books that I have reviewed at: https://www.pinterest.com/darlateach608/
  4. Sing with them Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star– The Itsy Bitsy Spider– or work on Nursey Rhymes for memory development– Jack and Jill, Little Ms Muppet and Humpty Dumpty
  5. Create a schedule/routine and stick with it. See Sample Below.
  6. Develop Fine/Small Motor Skills- Using Play-Doh, Coloring Books, Toys That Snap Together, and Sidewalk Chalk
